Our Bishop

As a knowledgeable Bible teacher and passionate preacher of the gospel, Bishop Kenneth Winkler found salvation in 1985 at the age of 26.  Bishop Winkler began living for God in Arroyo Grande, CA, where he eventually served as the assistant pastor to Rev. Larry L. Booker and dedicated his life and his family to the furtherance of God’s kingdom.

After following a circuitous path, which included Idaho, northern California, and southern California, Bishop Winkler eventually found himself in Arizona where God gave him direction to start a church in El Mirage.

Accordingly, Bishop Winkler started Northwest Apostolic Church in 2003 with a desire to bring the gospel of salvation to the Northwest Valley.  His mission is to continually be used by God to proclaim His Word.  Bishop Winkler has an incredible testimony and his passion to make a difference is manifested in his love for people and his tireless commitment to the work of God.

Bishop Winkler is honored to serve as the founding Pastor of Northwest Apostolic Church along with his wife, his children, and his grandchildren.
